Q: How far in advance do we need to book our accomodation?

A: This depends mainly on the time of year you wish to visit Malta. If you are thinking of renting accomodation in the peak season (June - September) we do suggest you contact us ASAP since we do get a lot of early enquiries. In the peak season we typically start accepting bookings around 12 months in advance.

Q: How much deposit is required for booking and what currencies do you accept?

A: In order to confirm your booking you must send a deposit amounting to 50% of the total cost. Please visit our bookings section for detailed booking and payment procedures.

Q: How much does the Food-Pack cost and what does it consist of?

A: The welcome food pack is optional and costs €21. It consists of some basic food & cleaning items to get you started on your arrival. The items in the pack include tea, coffee, milk, sugar, water, orange juice, bread, butter, cheese, eggs, bacon, biscuits, dishwashing items, toilet paper, etc.

Q: Can you arrange to meet us at the airport on arrival? How much would it cost?

A: Yes, if you give us your flight number and arrival time we can arrange to meet you at the airport and take you to your accomodation. The return cost of a 4-seater taxi would be €56 whilst a 10-seater minibus costs €75. These prices include both the arrival and the departure journey. Please note that all bookings in Villa Highnoon for 2008 will get free airport transfers as explained on the special offers page.

Q: Do you also deal with car hire?

A: Yes, Rainbow Co. Ltd. also operates a car rental service. We can supply you with several rental vehicle models including airconditioned 5-door cars, motorbikes, and minibuses. Drivers must have a valid licence and be over 21 years of age for hiring a car. In the case of jeeps, the minimum age requirement is 25. Hired vehicles can be delivered to (and also collected from) your accomodation free of charge. Rental prices vary depending on time of year and duration of hire.

Q: What is the cost for heating or airconditioning?

A: In summer we do supply you with fans free of charge, however if you want extra fans or any air-conditioning units, we can supply them at a charge. Usually fans can be rented out at €2 daily whilst portable air-conditioners cost around €10 daily. If you require heating in winter, you can rent out electric or gas heating units for which you pay by consumption. Typical consumption usually amounts to €20-€25 per week.
